“We are absolutely delighted to have completed the extensive renovations of an historic, Grade II listed residential house overlooking Maze Hill in Greenwich, London.  Taking over 3 years to complete and divided into 2 phases, the project involved the complete renovation of the 5 storey house, whilst maintaining and refurbishing all the original features of the house.

This was a very demanding, technical project which involved many trades, architectural practices and structural design studios, English Heritage, and of course very forward thinking and creative clients.

Jan 2018: BWC complete the successful renovation of oak timber panelling repairs and replacements to Toynbee Hall http://www.toynbeehall.org.uk/the-history-of-toynbee-hall-a-timeline-from-1884-2015- ) in EC1 on behalf of Thomas Sinden Construction. These intricate and highly skilled works involved repairing existing damaged panels by hand, and the installation of replacement oak panels which were made on CNC machines from hand drawn templates. The architect and conservation officer were extremely pleased on the skill, care and sympathetic approach that the BWC team carried out on this intricate project to a Grade II listed historical building.

BWC invited to submit a framework agreement tender for Fusion 21 for fire door installations.

Nov 2017: BWC Complete 10-month project to fit out a 3 storey, 4-bedroom mews house in South Kensington.  This ‘Project Recovery’ project (whereby the client had parted company with the previous contractor) was an extremely challenging contract as the M&E contractor and the architect were also parted company with prior to BWC talking over the project.  BWC were tasked with project managing the project to include:

o  Testing all previously installed M&E first fix items and subsequent M&E second fix items
o  Installation of bespoke marble bathrooms by Samson Marble
o  All sanitary ware by CP Hart.
o  Mood lighting throughout by John Cullen.
o  Kitchen by Smallbone of Devizes.
o  Ironmongery by Joseph Giles.
o  Doors by Solid Wooden Doors.
o  Electric roof lights by Sterling Build.
o  Flooring by Element 7.
o  Concrete profiled rendering by Pioneer Insulation.
o  M&E by NCPI Solutions.
o  Feature lighting by Lindsey Adelman.

Sep 2017: BWC successfully complete the construction of internal partition walls, ceilings and plastering works to two adjacent, 3 storey mews houses in Victoria, London.

June 2017: BWC commence internal renovations to 8 flats in De Vere Gardens, London, on behalf of Lengard.

April 2017: BWC commence a very intricate and technical project at Goldhawk Road Villas in Chiswick to
adapt 15 No. bespoke oak staircases to make the treads and risers comply with building
regulations.  Works involved some design calculations and highly skilled carpentry works with
French polishing the treads and risers once modified.  This project was carried out on behalf
of Balfour Beatty (whom BWC are a preferred supplier) and First Base.

March 2017: BWC commence ground works at a 5-storey high end residential house in Greenwich, London.
Works include underpinning of 3 underground vaults at the front of the house to create a walk-
in shower room, toilet, bathroom and utility room.

February 2017: BWC awarded contract to install fire doors and steel wrap around frames
from BestofSteel (whom BWC are a preferred installer) at Babraham Research Institute in
Cambridge on behalf of Hutton Construction.

January 2017: BWC win their first contract with Lengard to fit out Spurriers House in Harlow. Works included a
full internal strip out and re-build including new M&E, new floors, walls, ceilings, kitchens,
bathrooms and upgrading of the roof.
